Has anyone used easyPDF from BCL Technologies? We are writing a web app that allows the user to upload documents or images and turn them into PDFs for later viewing and printing. Cost for the SDK and web license is rather high and I was seeking some opinions before making the plunge.

Just out of curiosity, how much is the license?  I noticed that they don't have it posted.  I do not have any personal experience with this easyPDF, but I know that there are a LOT of options out there in this arena.  We took a different approach to PDF docs and went with a company that provides a PDF renderer and creator that is done from an imaging perspective.  I would not recommend the company that we used...though the product is OK, but here some of their competitors that I would recommend:

AccuSoft

Pegasus Software

Lead Tools (Image Express)

In some ways it is better to go in this direction as they are many other add-ons that can be purchased including the viewers, image effects and manipulation, etc.

Trent,

Web server license is minimum $3,000 for one server. Distributable desktop licenses are more depending on quantity. It's not my opinion that it is overpriced, but I'd still like some independent opinions on the product before buying. Support is $900.

I played with the trial version and it looked fine when I ran through samples and coded some simple stuff.
