This is on Windows 2003 as a note I tried to reinstall and it hangs on the Waiting for Popup section and it also errors out on the activation client.

The Add-In fails as well with Unknown Error:  80131501 and the Debugger says Object not set to an Instance.

If you are trying to load the 1.6.6 beta from the website, then try downloading this build instead as there were some changes made to the install in regards to localization that may address this error: http://www.strataframe.net/downloads/strataframesetup.exe

I just have not had the chance to post this on the forum through the standard Posted Releases section yet.  So you can try this and it may resolve your issue.  If nothing else, it should make it easier to work through your problem.  Thanks.

Got an Installer bug now.  Here is the error from the debugger.

"An unhandled exception of type 'System.Management.ManagementException' occurred in System.Management.dll

Additional information: Access denied

Hi Richard,

If you are installing on Vista, right click the installer and select Run as Administrator.

It's Windows Server 2003 as the OS.   I keep thinking that it is permission related except I'm installing as Administrator.

Richard,

I responded to your private message and gave you some instructions as well as a link to a new build.

I had a similar problem and traced it to a WMI issue.

Please review this link.  http://windowsxp.mvps.org/repairwmi.htm

I downloaded the WMI Diagnois Utility and found the problem.
