Hi,

How do I know what version I am using? My colleague said I am using V1.4 and need to use V1.4.1 but I cannot locate any info on the version.

And what are the steps I should do to upgrade?

Regards.

The version information on the DLLs for the 1.4.1 pre-release have not been changed from 1.4.  So, the easiest way to determine if you are running 1.4.1 or 1.4 is to open the BOMapper and if you have the "Customize Wizard" on the toolbar, then you are running 1.4.1.  If you do not have the option on the toolbar, you are running 1.4.

To upgrade, you will need to uninstall your current version of StrataFrame from the Add/Remove Programs of the Control Panel.  Then download the 1.4.1 installation from the MyAccount area of the website and install it.

Hi Ben,

I presume the uninstallation will not cause any disruption to the data I have done so far, right?

Correct.  The uninstall will remove the StrataFrame DLLs and the StrataFrame templates, but will not alter your current projects (you just won't be able to compile them without having the DLLs on your machine).
