One of my users has requested that they have the same "type in the drop-down" ability in the search window that they get in normal windows (with the DevEx combo control). So, let's use the DevExpress wrapped BrowseDialog control!! That'll work!!
Nope.
I have set a field to retrieve a list of values from the DB via a business object. The field is set to use the "Combo - Business Object" and I followed through with all of the appropriate setup of the combo. When the form displays, each field is a standard textbox. That does not make sense. I am sure I am missing a super-simple checkmark box or something.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!
Bill

This is most likely going to require an enhancement as the combo is always going to be set to a drop down list. This is actually the first time I have seen this request. The reason that this is done is to prevent additional errors so that coding logic can be more limited. But This is probably a good idea and it will have to be added to the list.
