I checked database connectivity and everything is fine. Not sure what the issue is.

There should be a log file located in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\MicroFour\StrataFrame folder that contains more detailed information on the error that was thrown.  Could you post that log file?

There is no log file. In fact that was the first thing I checked.

I had this same error. I had restored a backup of my SQL Server Data folder prior to performing the StrataFrame install and the .MDF already existed. To fix the problem I did the following:

1. Uninstalled StrataFrame
2. Removed the old StrataFrame .MDF/.LDF files.
3. Reinstalled StrataFrame

I am moving my development tools to a new computer and am having this same problem once again; however, the solution I posted above is not working. I have done the following:

1. Installed v 1.5
2. During the installation I get an error that states "An error has occured while deploying the data to the server".
3. I verified that the account we are installing with has SysAdmin rights.
4. Unfortunatly, at this point you are pretty much in a lurch. There is no Cancel button or other way to interact with this message except to use Task Manager to kill the process which is what I did.
5. I then deleted the database files, uninstalled and tried again with the same result.
6. So far we have tried this 3x each time with the same issue.
7. I've looked at the Application and SQL logs and they are empty.

I'm not sure what to do from here.
