Okay, I'm probably going to feel really stupid but I cannot find anything in the properties of the new Stratalistview that looks like the data section of the old list view or looks like involves filling the stratalistview.
Further, other than the "What's New" in the help CHM saying how cool the new Stratalistview is I don't see *any* hints there or here on the forum as to how to use this thing. And I don't see anything in the samples. And looking at the source code I see nothing that means anything to me.
Obviously I haven't installed something or I am just being blockheaded and looking in the wrong place and since no one else seems to have asked about this in the last three months I have to assume everyone else has it figured out and it is blindingly obvious.
If so, will somebody please explain it to me or point me at the explanation that I missed?? Feel free to speak slowly and use small words.

Hey Charles,
I am producing a sample as I also received your email. At the moment, as this control is not 100% released, you have to manually populate the list...but it is worth it! I will post the sample later today so that you can see how to interact with it using data. When we release the control, IT WILL have all of the data binding logic of the existing ListView and much more. The reason that this is being implemented and released last as the control has grown a lot since it was first mentioned. It now has embeddable controls as well which will also be part of the binding logic. So since it has been growing, we saved this part for last. However, we have actually released this control into the product for our medical software and it has been very well received. As most of you know, I am a list guy, not a grid guy, so I have spent a lot of time tweaking and using this control....and I really like the features and functionality...and I am a pretty hard guy to please!

Thanks Trent ! This is really terrific news. As I told you, I'm working on a multi-picker list with some added wrinkles of lines whose state of picked or unpicked cannot be changed and some other goodies and then remembered there is this entirely new listview and didn't want to try to reinvent wheels that have already been invented by much better inventors
This is a *major* addition to the framework and I know it represents a lot of work as well as a lot of real-world testing.
