Hi,
I am new to .NET and Strataframe having come from a Foxpro background starting back in the 2.0 DOS days. I have been through the Winform tutorials and have subsequently deployed several Winform applications with great success for clients.
One of our major clients has a number of ASP.net applications that have been developed in VS2003 against a SQL Server back end developed circa 2004 by a former colleague. We have been maintaining these for them and have been asked to upgrade the application and to implement additional functionality.
We want to move the application to SQL Server 2008 and either VS2008 or VS2010.
Is there a tutorial or guideline on developing a Webforms application from scratch using Strataframe? I have looked at the both the C# and VB sample webform applications and could do with some advice just getting started on a webform application using Strataframe. I couldn't find anything like this in the help files.
TIA,
Andy

Hi Andrew.
The web sample is a good starting point, and you will be able to find many posts with more specific questions while you go. Bellow is a link to a good thread you can follow to give you some ideas and don't hesitate to post your questions over here during the process.

If you start a webform application using the SF web template you will need to change the Assembly references to 1.7.0.0 in web.config, the web project template file still references 1.6.0.0. Beyond that they only thing really different in a webform is that you declare your BO's in the ApplicationBasePage class instead of dragging them onto your form.
Get the web sample to where it will edit/add, then try your own project would be my opinion.
