Ok, have the existing "MicroFour StrataFrame License.dll" (Version: 1.3.0.0)

Am I correct in thinking that I need a different one for the 1.5 version?

What is needed to get this "new" dll? I've looked in both my account area and the one for my boss, who did have the older version.

Don't see it, don't really want to loose the day if I uninstall the Pre-release version.

Will it just appear in the my downloads area when they are ready?

I dont see the DLL at all in my download area. My guess is that the new 1.5 activation doesnt use the DLL?, but like you I will wait until someone says thats right.

So <> to this topic Smile

Follow up question.

Is the help now bundled with the framework install? It used to be a seperate item in the downloads area, now I dont see it.

I think I am looking forward to it almost as much as the new features.

OK...let's clear this up.  You no longer need the MicroFour StrataFrame License.dll.  Also, you no longer have to download this file from the My Account area.  All you need to do is open the Activation Client and go through the Wizard to activate your machine.

We have actually made this much easier than before and all you need to get your license is you email address and password.

To launch the Activation Wizard, open Visual Studio and go to the StrataFrame -> License Information menu item.  Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your license.

Just FYI, all of this was included in the email we sent out talking about the 1.5 update.  If you do not have this email, just follow the instructions above.

No problem.  Let me know if you have any other questions. Wink

Upgrade complete, 3 projects happily updated and rebuilt successfully. Thanks.

Is it just me or do things generally run a lot faster with 1.5?

That is always the goal Smile  It would just depend on where you might have gained a benefit.  There were a few changes made to the DataAccessLayer which could be making a difference.  Otherwise I am not sure.  But I always like hearing things are going well....and fast... BigGrin
