Hi All,
I am hoping that someone can provide detailed instructions for installing v1 on a Windows 10 computer running VS2019. I have the original install files and if I recall correctly there was a custom VSIX and some customised routines developed by Edhy. The link to these no longer works.
Trust everyone is well and I look forward to hearing about the V2 developments.
TIA,
Andy

Do you know if there is a VSIX file for Strataframe V1 with Visual Studio 2019? I tried running the 2017 VSIX file located here http://forum.strataframe.net/Topic33467.aspx but it does not work.
Best regards,
Andy

Update:
I successfully downloaded and installed Edhy's installer and Strataframe v1.7.7.1 options now show on my Windows10 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1110) start menu. As the 2017 VSIX will not install with VS2019 I downloaded and installed VS 2017 Community Edition and installed that successfully. I rebooted the computer. I then double clicked on the 2017 VSIX "MicroFour StrataFrame Package.vsix" The installer runs and then stops as per screenshot below
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
TIA, Andy

Please read the ReadMe.txt file and follow the instructions and it should work for you.
Please let me know how it goes.

Just wondering if anyone had thoughts about the missing pre-requisites?
I have .net 3.5 and 4.8 installed my W10 notebook as shown below On my old w7 notebook that I am retiring only .NET 3.5.1 is installed and all is working well with VS2017 community edition and Stataframe. TIA, Andy

I then double clicked on the VSIX file and got the same message as previously about missing prerequisites. Is there a step I am missing between running your installer and clicking in the VSIX? Do I need to activate Strataframe on the new computer prior to running the VSIX?
TIA, Andy

Go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54279 Then look and download the following files: ENU\x64\SharedManagementObjects.msi ENU\x86\SharedManagementObjects.msi ENU\x64\SQLSysClrTypes.msi ENU\x86\SQLSysClrTypes.msi
You may only need to install the x64 versions first then try to run the VSIX.

Hi Edhy,
1. I downloaded and installed the X64 versions and then reran the VSIX - same result, missing prerequisites. 2. I downloaded and installed the X86 versions and then reran the VSIX - same result, missing prerequisites. 3. I re-read forum message Topic33467 and installed the Addins and Extensibility DLLs into the GAC by running the 2019 Visual Studio command prompt as an administrator. Both DLLs were successfully added to the cache. 4. I reran the VSIX - same result, missing prerequisites.

I believe you don't have my latest VSIX file. Please download it from this link below, unzip it and follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file but use the Developer Command Prompt for VS 2019 instead..

Since the forum was migrated I kind of lost track of what I've posted.
