Can't Uninstall from Control Panel

I downloaded the latst version of Strataframe but I can't install it because the install thinks that there is a previous version of Strataframe installed; which is probabally correct. The problem is that it does not appear in the control panel as a selectiion for uninstall. I tried to manually remove by deleting the install directory and then remove all references to Strataframe in the registery but gave up on this approach. There are just too many references!!! Is it possible to provide manual uninstall instructions or another means to uninstall? I really don't want to re-build my computer.

This problem is not as urgent as when I posted originally. I found a backup of my system what was not too old and I am going to restore. This issue may have some long term merit though.

Hi Ronald.

I'm sure will you get a solution for your problem, but you could also try opening the source code solution e re-building it. This will register the DLLs and get you going.

Hope it helps.

Ron,

If StrataFrame does not appear in the Add/Remove programs then you have other issues.  I have not heard of this (outside of improperly deleted registry keys).  Your registry still thinks that there is an MSI of StrataFrame installed.

At present, you have to manually uninstall previous versions when upgrading.  This will be resolved after the first of the year when we introduce a new installation that will automatically remove previous versions.
