it seems that the DB is still in SQL Server...
Yes, when you uninstall we leave the databases in tact, which is a good thing when you are running in production mode because you do not want to lose any of your BO mappinrs, meta-data from teh Database Deployment Toolkit, etc. That is why they are left alone when you uninstall.
You can manually remove these though. There are two databases that were installed (assuming you installed the sample database): StrataFrame and StrataFrameSample. Just open up your SQL Server Management Studio or Enterprise Manager and delete the databases. The install will put them back when you re-install StrataFrame (assuming you install to the same SQL Server).
