I think it might be a span tag, rather than a link. When you click on the link, does it give you the option to save or open, or does it immediately try to open it?

RE: Problems downloading trial license file

Hiya,

Thanks for the quick response. I should have mentioned that "Save As..." is not an option from the right mouse menu when I right click on the file. I figured it was something you had disabled. Very odd.

Thanks,

Jesse

RE: Problems downloading trial license file

You should be able to right-click the file and choose "Save As" and save it somewhere where the SF install can see it (a shared hard-drive or a USB stick). It shouldn't try to install itself when you download it, but it is a DLL (.NET 2.0 assembly).

Problems downloading trial license file

Hello,

I just set up an account to ty out the framework. I was able to download the installation fine but the trial license file will not download. I'm guessing it's a DLL file that's trying to register itself when it downloads because I get a .NET 2.0 required error message. I'm using IE7 7.0.5700.6 on Windows XP Pro SP2 to download the file. I don't want to install .NET 2.0 because I'm downloading from my host environment. I have a Virtual PC environment set up for development. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
