Last night I started&nbsp;the installation&nbsp;before I left for home, and logged back in 4 hours later. It was still at the same point. Any ideas?Fri, 20 Jun 2008 10:00:45 GMTJohn McLaughlinhttp://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost17209.aspxYou will want to load it again so that it will install itself in the VS2008 environment.&nbsp; When you loaded SF, I am sure that you saw the option for both VS2005 and VS2008, you can install and run both versions side-by-side.&nbsp; So when you load VS2008 just reload the SF install afterwards to update the VS2008 IDE.&nbsp; Also, just FYI, when you install and uninstall StrataFrame, it leaves your license intact.&nbsp; So if you have installed SF, and then uninstall and reload, you license information will be left alone and you will still be activated once you reload SF.Fri, 20 Jun 2008 10:00:45 GMTTrent L. I have administrator permissions on my box, so I don't think that is an issue.Fri, 13 Jun 2008 10:05:57 GMTJohn McLaughlinhttp://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost17010.aspxOK, a couple of things.&nbsp; This process should not take more than a couple minutes and can happen for a multitude of reasons.&nbsp; Permissions on the local machine is a common reason.&nbsp; it is best to have administrative permissions while installing SF.&nbsp; But other factors can come into play as well such as issues with a VS 2005 install (which SV 2003 should not affect, but it has been a really long time since I have run into someone with VS2003 on the machine, but this should not really be a factor).</P><P>Secondly, load the 1.6.6 beta.&nbsp; Don't let the beta word scare you.&nbsp; We have actually been deplying this version of the framework into the field with our medical app...so clearly we trust it.&nbsp; You can get it here: <A href="http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost16782.aspx">http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost16782.aspx</A>&nbsp;.</P><P>This will at least put us on the same playing field when trying to diagnose your installation problems.Wed, 11 Jun 2008 22:42:07 GMTTrent L.
