Hi Folks. Just a general question re Sharpshooter. Looking for a BI type application (similar to SAP Business Objects if anybody is familiar with this product). Looking for an app that does Drill Downs, Drill Across, Pivot tables, Weekly,Monthly,Yearly analysis by Customer, Rep Product Group etc.

Anybody know if Report Sharpshooter does this sort of thing...the OLAP module seems to suggest that it does something similar

Hi Ivan.

T have seen reference to the OLAP product from Pepetuum, but I was wondering about its functionality. Do you know if it has that BI type functionality that an end user could use i.e. Top Down Drill down, drill across, Pivots , Weekly, Monthly, Yearly etc. if this is available already, it would mean we would not have to roll our own !!

Hey Gerard.

So that you know, SAP uses Report Sharp-Shooter.

And yes, Perpetuum Software (www.perpetuumsoft.com) has an OLAP product, which also integrates with Report Sharp-Shooter.
