One is on my laptop the other is on our developer workstation in the office. There are two accounts on that PC for our two other developers.

I installed the software on the devPC using one account - no issue there. I log out of that account and log in on the other developer account the strataframe menu and toolbox items are not shown.

Neither developer will be using that station at the same time so what do I need to do to make StrataFrame available on both accounts?

Thanks, Mark

RE: Two developer accounts on the same PC

Thanks to both of you!

I ran the install program on the other account on the pc and everythings works great.

Mark

RE: Two developer accounts on the same PC

I think its because VS cant see the SF Addin. If the path to the Addin is user based like

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns on Vista

or

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns on XP

then VS cant see the addin on the other users.

/Teddy

RE: Two developer accounts on the same PC

I guess I am confused as to your issue then. Are you running virtual machines or are you not able to activate? In this example, it should only be taking up a single license since it is using the same NIC on the same machine. Let me know if I am missing something. Thanks.

Trent L. These are two accounts on the same PC so the MAC address of the NIC will be the same.

Thanks, Mark

RE: Two developer accounts on the same PC

Hi Mark,

Try this Url and see if it answers your questions

http://forum.strataframe.net/Topic41-16-1.aspx

Paul
