Syntax Error with any script

When adding a simple reference to almost any javascript in my StrataFrame Web Application, I am getting a

BC30035: Syntax error.

Even a simple script produces this error. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue. These scripts are verified and working in other apps. It is not an issue with the scripts themselves -- something else is afoot.
