Anyway, ANTS is proving to be very useful and I have just used to have a look at general slugishness when starting our menu. ANTS reports that our app spends about 24 seconds in StrataFrameApplication.RunApplication() on a reasonably powerfull quad core Intel box when nothing else is running. We use SQL Server 2008, VS 2008, Vb.Net and DevExpress (latest version) and the last release of StrataFrame. Our menus use the DexExpress Nav Bar control.<br> <br> Does the 24 seconds seem like a reasonable elapsed time. I don't want to go chasing after performance increases if this is about what can be expected.
