Outputting to Excel

I noticed on the recent update info there is an option to create Excel files.

Does this require Excel to be installed on the machine that is creating the file ?

No, it doesn't require that Excel is installed. However, it does use the Jet OLEDB provider (which is free to distribute). In most cases, this is already distributed anyway.
