﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"><channel><title>StrataFrame Forum » StrataFrame Application Framework - V1 » Issues  » UnauthorizedAccessException</title><generator>InstantForum 2017-1 Final</generator><description>StrataFrame Forum</description><link>http://forum.strataframe.net/</link><webMaster>StrataFrame Forum</webMaster><lastBuildDate>Tue, 09 Jun 2026 05:39:30 GMT</lastBuildDate><ttl>20</ttl><item><title>UnauthorizedAccessException</title><link>http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost30045.aspx</link><description>&lt;font color=#000000 size=2 face=Tahoma&gt;Hi&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;I signed up and downloaded the StrataFrame Trial Version today.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;I have VS2010 installed on a Windows 7 64Bit laptop and the trial installed on this without errors.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;I keep getting messages "UnauthorizedAccessException" the software seems to trying to access a registry key&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;"'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicroFour\Mapper"&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;On this system this key does not exist although it does exist "'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node"&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;Is there any way to change the configuration to overcome this error?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face=tahoma&gt;Regards Gordon&lt;/font&gt;</description><pubDate>Wed, 08 Jun 2011 09:55:00 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>Gordon Rodney Norris</dc:creator></item><item><title>RE: UnauthorizedAccessException</title><link>http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost30046.aspx</link><description>Hi Gordon,&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Try running VS as Administrator, so it will update the registry keys that it needs.&amp;nbsp; You can also mark the VS shortcut with "Run as Administrator" so you don't have to do it all the time.</description><pubDate>Wed, 08 Jun 2011 09:55:00 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>Edhy Rijo</dc:creator></item></channel></rss>
