Auditing

I am looking to intoduce Auditing into my Apps (Simple --> Table,Column,Datetime,Userid,BeforeValue,AfterValue). I see from various threads here that Auditing , though started, has not been fully implemented.

I could roll my own, have also seen a product called OmniAudit.

Any ideas, suggestions welcome as to the best way to proceed.

I have one particular APP that I need to get up and running within the next week and have no idea of the time that something like this would require. I would like to make it as generic as possible so it could be rolled out for any database/table without too much change
