forms re-sizing at run time

Apologize if this has been brought up in another thread but I searched and could not find anything.

Running 1.7.6 on Windows 7 and having strange form behavior. Attached is an example of design time form layout and run time buttons are cut off.

We're also seeing buttons cut off on some of the SF builders. Attached an example of browse results dialog OK/Cancel cut off so I'm guessing it's related.

Any ideas or workarounds?

UPDATE: as for my form it turned out to be the registryrepositorykey was set when I had it sized smaller. Doh! My guess is that it's a similar issue with the browse results dialog but not sure what key that uses.
