I know you haven't published a release date for SF 2.0 but I'm hoping it will be sometime this year. With all the new features I also hope you will be offering a training class. The last training was very helpful but the other people that attended that class with me have retired or moved on to other jobs. I've now have some new programmers and my organization is in the process of developing it's FY13-14 budget. I'm wondering if I should be budgeting for training and a trip to Texas sometime between July 2013 and June 2014.

-Larry

RE: StrataFrame 2.0 & Training

Hmmm, my wife will not let me go to Rio by myself :D so I will have to budget for two :hehe:

RE: StrataFrame 2.0 & Training

Rio de Janeiro...

RE: StrataFrame 2.0 & Training
Ivan George Borges (3/22/2013)

Ben Chase (3/22/2013)
...there is much more of a nightlife there than in Amarillo.
Barely.
At least steak was pretty good :)

RE: StrataFrame 2.0 & Training
Ben Chase (3/22/2013)
...there is much more of a nightlife there than in Amarillo.
Barely.

RE: StrataFrame 2.0 & Training

The Beta will be this year. It will be next year before all modules are released, but we will release the base framework and the DDT first. Other modules being (subject to change, of course ;)) extended controls for WPF and WinForms, and an Application Server (essentially the enterprise server on steroids, standalone service without using IIS, licensing, client tracking, web services, all sorts of cool stuff).

We will definitely offer training. Probably more than 1 session per year in Amarillo. We have moved our development office into one of the large banks downtown, and they have a very impressive auditorium that will be perfect for training.

We have also discussed offering destination training once per year. Most likely Las Vegas or a similar place. Everyone loves Vegas, hotels will work with us on group rates, airfare there is cheap, and there is much more of a nightlife there than in Amarillo.

I have no idea which training scenario will be offered first.
