Hallo,

After having install problems on my vista64 home pc i had trouble with the installation on my xp machine at work too.
The installation seems to go through normally but the following problems appeared.

-Installation does bring up the checked items when finished which are the samples and the activation program.
-as i tried to start activate.exe manually it just happened nothing.
-as i looked in my .\sqlexpress server there were no sf tables created.
-after starting vs2005 it seems that the sf addin brings up a big red errorbox indicating that something is wrong.

My machine is german xp sp2.

The old installation went through without any problem.
I deinstalled it before installing the new one.
I deleted the old sf tables in the sql server manually.

So this weekend is just sad cause i wanted to touch your new baby :crying:

greets
Also, you should see a form popup and create the databases. If you did not see this then this is why no databases were created. Try running the setup again and choose the Modify or Repair options and se if the tables get created when run the second time.

Trent L.
