﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"><channel><title>StrataFrame Forum » StrataFrame Application Framework - V1 » Issues  » Errors in the Sample Console (1.6)</title><generator>InstantForum 2017-1 Final</generator><description>StrataFrame Forum</description><link>http://forum.strataframe.net/</link><webMaster>StrataFrame Forum</webMaster><lastBuildDate>Tue, 09 Jun 2026 02:36:00 GMT</lastBuildDate><ttl>20</ttl><item><title>Errors in the Sample Console (1.6)</title><link>http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost7143.aspx</link><description>Hi all,&lt;P&gt;I've been working with Trent on this but could not come up with a resolution before he had to jet out on a family emergency.&amp;nbsp; I know this isn't a priority, but I was showing a programming friend of mine the Sample Console after upgrading to 1.6 and errors occur on almost all of the links in the StrataFrame UI Controls (There is a lot more to the message, but basically it is a SQLException: Invalid object name 'customers').&amp;nbsp; When I click on the Advanced ListView Population under Grids and Lists, the customers load (parent records), but when I click on a customer that has child records, WHAMO!&amp;nbsp; This time I get SQLException: Invalid object name 'products'.&amp;nbsp; Here are the things Trent and I have gone through thus far:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Deleted the&amp;nbsp;appkeys.dat and connections.dat under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MicroFour\ConnectionData.&amp;nbsp; Reconnected under VS and when running the Samples and problem still exists.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Removed StrataFrame and StrataFrameSample databases from SQL Server 2005 Express SP2 and downloaded the latest StrataFrame installation then ran the installation.&amp;nbsp; Both databases were created successfully, still the same problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Completely uninstalled StrataFrame, removed all left over folders in&amp;nbsp;Common Files, Program Files, Profile folders, etc.&amp;nbsp; Removed both databases from my SQL Server.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Searched for StrataFrame and MicroFour in the registry and removed all entries.&amp;nbsp; Ran a registry cleaner to clean up anything I may have missed.&amp;nbsp; Restarted my computer and&amp;nbsp;checked for a new StrataFrame installation (which there was), downloaded and installed StrataFrame.&amp;nbsp; Ran the Samples and still have the problem.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That is pretty much where we left it.&amp;nbsp; Trent thought it may be some type of connection with the database issue (like connecting to an older version or something),&amp;nbsp;but I only have one instance of SQL Server and the setup recreates the databases each time without any issues.&amp;nbsp; Plus, I can connect to both to them (StrataFrame database in VS2005 and StrataFrameSample when I try to run the first Sample after installation).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anybody have any ideas?&amp;nbsp; I was a little embarrassed trying to show off the Samples.&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;However, I was able to run the CRM Sample application without any problems&lt;/STRONG&gt; at all and that really impressed him.&amp;nbsp; I told him it was a brand new version and the other Samples were probably something to do with my setup.&amp;nbsp; :)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIA,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;James Moore</description><pubDate>Mon, 26 Feb 2007 13:16:25 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>James Moore</dc:creator></item><item><title>RE: Errors in the Sample Console (1.6)</title><link>http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost7179.aspx</link><description>[quote]Yeah, and I bet Greg thinks he is funny too... you're talking about him, right?[/quote]&lt;br&gt;

As you've been through this with Trent, I guess nothing much has been left to say. You wouldn't have 2 instances of SQL Express installed in your machine, would you? Nor this would be a security issue, do you think?
