Here are some screenshots to help illustrate.
I tried this using a native StrataFrame BrowseDialog and it worked fine.

P.S. I just upgraded to DevExpress 6.3.3 and StrataFrame 1.6 this morning...not sure if thats relevant to the problem. ;-)

RE: DevExpress BrowseDialog

I am glad you found a work around and for letting us know!

Trent L. Just wanted to let you know that I replaced all the DevExpress toolbar/statusbars in my forms to strataframe toolbars... i really didnt like the way DevExpress handled its toolbars with textboxes and RepositoryItemEdits... what is up with that?

So I'm not hanging for a solution to the DevExpress wrapped BrowseDialog...even though I know you still need to fix it. ;-)

RE: DevExpress BrowseDialog

Hi,

You can check out this link http://forum.strataframe.net/Topic7014-10-1.aspx

I think the thread author found the mistake, but not for me. The strangest thing is that, I tried to re-configure the list population setting (enum - Business Object), press OK to confirm change. Then, I edit it again, the setting just not shown on the screen.

Anyway, my application is still running fine. That is why I never "chase" you for solution :P

RE: DevExpress BrowseDialog

Chan,

I fell very confident that this particular issue has never occured with the native SF BrowseDialog. How did you produce this and how did you work around it? This would definitely be the first that I have heard of this and if it is actually happening I would like to know how you achieved this behavior with normal use. Thanks.

Trent L.
