Must change password on next login flag

I traced the code all the way through the decryption and encryption process ... and also where the code attempts to set the value to False in the us_data encrypted field (after a successful password change) ... then through to the tableupdate process, where SQL Server returned no errors. But every time I try to login again (after a successful reset of the password), the flag remains set. The end result is that once this flag is set it is never reset and the user has to change their password with each login. Well, at least on my machine anyway.

Is anyone else witnessing a behavior like this? Can anyone reproduce it?

No!!! I knew exactly what you meant. I was just saying if you had not posted on this forum, the next person may have read your question and wondered what had come of the problem :D Thanks...sincerely!

I was not being facetious ... I really meant "Thanks for fixing my problem quickly". Forums can be so impersonal ... and subject to misunderstandings. Sorry if that is what you thought ... that wan't what I was trying to communicate at all.

I also posted that information so that anyone reading the thread would know which update fixed the problem.

The new release today (11/20/2006) fixed my problem.
