No BS, no none sense. You have to stay focus and alert the whole time. These guys are explosive with feeding you info.

I'll go back for their next major release again.

I'll tell you one thing. There is a lot more to this product than it appears to be, and you get a feel for the work that was put into this product. Trent and Ben (not me), are very sharp and willing to share their knowledge.
RE: Next training class ?
Trent may take you out for a beer
Uh-oh....looks like Larry is signing me up this time ;) Actually Charles, I would be happy to! :)

Trent L. My two coworkers who also attended and are new to SF have said that the training will really help them in getting up to speed quickly. Not only is the class well thought out and all inclusive and the instructors excellent, I really enjoyed talking to other SF users to hear how they are using the product.

While August would not be my ideal time to visit Amarillo, the A/C does work very well and if you ask nicely, Trent may take you out for a beer.

-Larry

RE: Next training class ?

Hello Charles,

The class was excellent! I'd highly recommend it - and - the a/c worked well while we were there (bring a jacket...)

Just about everything covered was well explained and demonstrated. There was plenty of opportunity for questions. If you're like me (just beginning in DotNet and StrataFrame,) you will benefit greatly from attending this class.

RE: Next training class ?

Hi Charles.

I find the training excellent.

(and the cookies they serve make me going back every time :D)

RE: Next training class ?

Yes, you have to have air conditioning in Texas in August :D

RE: Next training class ?

I thought it was excellent. I'd have to say that once is not enough...just too much, at least for me, who is new to .NET and SF (started both last Nov). Understanding more about SF is excellent as I'm not as likely to spin my wheels doing some the hard way or trying to do something that is not possible/against the design. It was also really helpful with the .NET stuff. I recommend it very much. I posted this recently too:

http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost8965.aspx

The building is air conditioned too :D

Next training class ?

Imagine the instructors are still worn out from the May class, but wondered if you had a feel yet for when you'll be doing the next one. Quarterly implies Texas in August :w00t: so I thought if that were the case I'd start training now in the Sahara or someplace :)

This framework is obviously a very well thought out and sophisticated tool and I look forward to getting into it more deeply.

Would also be interested in hearing publicly or privately from anyone who took the May training with whatever reactions they had.
