It would be a killer app for me to have the DDT work against Oracle.  Generate Oracle SPs and Packages, etc.  That would be sweet.

I didn't read this until I posted on your other thread.  More than likely the DDT will never have Oracle support.  There is very little demand and this would be a HUGE undertaking...as it was with SQL.  But Oracle is not as friendly   I guess I had forgotten that you were using Oracle.  I will keep that in mind in the future when posting towards your data questions.

Yes, using Oracle is complex and PAINFUL.  Try doing a normal SELECT stored procedure.  You have to create ref cursors and packages and package bodies.
