Hi all,

There are many report engines out there for .NET like Crystal, List & Labels, etc.

What report engine are SF users working with?

At this point I need to start looking a reporting tool and want to use something that can work well with SF and if possible re-use the BO classes in my SF project.

Thanks!

Internally, we are using the PerpetuumSoft Sharp Shooter report engine.  We've customized it quite a bit to allow us to store the report templates as XML within the database (their programming model made it really easy...).  I know several of our users are using XtraReports from DevExpress with good results.  Lots of people are using ActiveReports, and this new one popped up the other day: http://www.stimulsoft.com/Products.aspx.  It will all boil down to personal preference... which one makes the most sense to you.

Every user will likely give you their own opinion on why the use the engine they're using; and all of the engines have features that make them worthwhile, so don't just jump on one until you look at at least a couple of them.
