How about a settings manager on the application object that will read\write values to the registry or an ini file (based on a property).  Does thia already exist, and I just don't know about it?

Nope, not at the moment, but I will discuss this with the other developers. For the time being, you can add things to the app.config and retrieve them (rather limited, I know, but that's the way .NET handles it).
