I need to download the version 7.3.5 of Devexpress to make integration with Strataframe 1.6.5.

Where can I download this version exactly?

You can download the 7.3.5 version of DevExpress from the DevExpress website.  We do not resell or distribute DevExpress.  You are currently running a trial, but when you have fully paid for license (Unlimited), then you will have access to the source code which allows you to simply change the references of the DevExpress wrapper to whichever version you need and recompile.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I know that Micro4 not marketing the Devexpress. We are evaluating the acquisition of devexpress to integrate the StrataFrame already acquired.

I Devexpress with and they do not offer me down an earlier version, because not yet bought the product.

How can solve this problem?

I believe that you work for W. Security which has a single license of the framework.  I noticed that some of you are on trials and others are in the process of purchasing a license.  Also, Ivan had emailed me about this as well but had a different contact name.  If you are not in that loop then let me know.

Just to verify... The DevExpress version wrapped in 1.6.5 is 7.3.5?

I haven't got DevExpress over here, but I opened the Inherited UI source code and the references are all to 7.3.5.0

They are, but you can download the 8.1.1 version if you don't want to go through the energy of changing your references.  They changed a few things in the 8.1.1 (primary namespaces and object types) so people had a little tougher time.  You can get it from here: http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost15184.aspx

I'm a little confused... wont I have to change my references anyway? Whether I use 7.3.5 or 8.1.1? Right now I'm running version 1.6.0 of SF and 6.3.? of DevExpress... the reason I'm asking about 7.3.5 is because I'm doing my homework before I upgrade my machine. :-D

What were people having a tougher time with? Recompiling the Inherited UI after they tried to upgrade it themselves?

Thanks Cool

I thought that you may be running the latest version of DevExpress.  If you want to use 6.3 you can.  Just change the Inherited UI references back to 6.3.  It is setup for 7.3.5 in the install right now and we have compiled assemblies out on the Posted Releases for 7.3.8 and 8.1.1.

Yes.  DevExpress changed some objact base types and namespaces in 8.1.1.  Nothing major but just enough to throw a few wrenches in the gears.
