When trying to create a connection in the VS2005 Data Source Configuration Wizard, I am getting a dialog with the following message:-

"An unexpected error occured in the .NET Framework Data Provider for SQL Server Mobile Edition. Please contact the provider vendor to resolve this problem".

I am not using the SQL Server Mobile Edition, just VS2005/C# and local install of SQL Server 2000. FYI, this has been working fine and has just started going wrong for no apparent reason.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Best

-=Gary

Just a "heads up" on this - I uninstalled the SQL Mobile Edition from my PC and presto - all worked as expected
