I've has to set up a new ES server since our current server failed. I've installed ES, created and download an new license file, set up the datasource and web config fiels but when I try to access the ES Status page from the ES server I get "The page cannot be found Error". Any idea of what could be causing the problem. The ES server is also not sending any error emails.

At this point it would ahve to be a DNS, IIS issue in regards to pointing to the correct place and having permissions to get to the page.  Can you resolve the hostname to the correct IP, etc?

I know I'm getting to the site. I temporarily replaced status.aspx with a test html page and was able to access the test page.

Found the problem. When our server group built the new server they ran the Microsoft Security Configuration Wizard and locked it down to the point that ES couldn't run.
