I removed and reinstalled Strataframe  1.5 in case I missed a checkbox during the install. I'm using SQL Server 2005 Express.  During the reinstallation all the checkboxes checked, yet I’m getting the same error when I attempt to run the Strataframe UI Controls Demo or Advanced ListView Population:

 ApplicationException

       Cannot open database "StrataFrameSample" requested by the login. The login failed.

The enhanced list demo requires that DevExpress v6.2.3 be installed on your computer because it uses the DevExpress wrapper (MicroFour StrataFrame Inherited UI) that contains the EnhancedList. 

As for the first error, it looks like your connection string for the StrataFrameSample database is not configured properly.  When you ran the sample, did it show the connection string wizard, or did it just throw the error?  Most likely, you will need to open the source code for the sample and change the SetDataSources() method.  In that method, change the ConnectionManager.ApplicationKey = "something" to ConnectionManager.ApplicationKey = "somethingelse" and run the app.  When you run, you should see the connection string manager again, and make sure you configure the connection string properly, and you should be good to go.

Seem I received a new error. 'DevExpress.XtraEditors.v6.2 appears not to be installed:

The EnhancedList is part of the StrataFrame DevExpress wrapper.  The wrapper requires DevExpress to be installed on your machine before it can be used.  So, if you do not have DevExpress installed on your computer, you will not be able to run the EnhancedList sample or use any of the controls that are part of the MicroFour StrataFrame Inherited UI assembly.
