I have set up two business obejects with a parent child relationship on a form everything works fine until Navigation/Search updates fields as I expect. When I try to edit I get an error

There are no rows in the current data table.  An edit is not allowed.

Do you have the ChildAutoFilterOption set on the parent... it is possible that the parent record might be filtering the visible records within the child so that no child records are visible to edit.

Can you expand on the behavior that you're experiencing a little more?  I'm not sure what you're doing to cause the error.
