I'm trying to map a business object to an Oracle table with a primary key (it's a sequence) and I'm getting the following error.  Any ideas?  Thanks!!

Frank,

We are in the process of rebuilding an Oracle server, so please bare with us.  I know that Ben was working on this today.  I do not know if he emailed you anything or not, but we are on the job

Hi Frank,

I've setup our server for 10g, and I've downloaded and installed 9i, but I haven't run any unit tests against it. Unfortunately, Oracle8 is not a public download from Oracle's website like 10g and 9i are, so I'm in the process of trying to acquire that version of the database. Once I get it installed, I'll have the unit tests running against it in a day.

The problem is that Oracle 10g and 9i have some very large changes to their meta-data structure, and when you call GetSchema() against the server, the INDEX_NAME column is not returned.

We're still working on it.

We are creating a server with all types of databases so we can setup these scenarios quickly in the future.  I appologize for the slow turn around on this one.  We have been swamped getting ready for Tech-Ed, reworking the site, making critical updates, and getting role based security out.  We haven't forgotten about you though.  This is on our task list and I promise you will be the first to know when we get it going.  Thanks for your patience!

I've completed the unit tests for Oracle 9i and 10g, and I now have my hands on a copy of Oracle 8, but it's a linux version, so it's taking me a little while to get it up and running.  I will be posting the update that has the fixes for 9 and 10 today.
