I don't believe there is a way to increase size of chm file text other than by the creator.

For my eyes the size of text in the contents panel is fine.

I purchased license yesterday and look forward to using this promising product.

Alex, I don't mean this to be a solution, but just played a bit with it to see if I could find a way to zoom the page. If you select the help text you want to read and right click it, you can then choose Print Preview, in which you get a zooming combobox... not really what you wanted, is it?

The chm text is hosted within IE, however, it won't seem to let you hold Ctrl + mouse wheel to change the font size.  I did find that if you go to options within the CHM and choose Internet Options, if you click the Accessibility button and choose "Ignore font sizes specified on webpages," the CHM file will use the font size specified by Windows (which is much larger).  However, this will also change the font size of all web pages viewed within IE.

You can also right-click the document you want to enlarge and choose properties.  The properties page will list the url for the page (should start with ms-its; you can select the url and paste it into IE.  Once it's opened in IE, you can use the Ctrl + mouse wheel to resize it any way you want.

Hey Ivan, thanks for the response.

The solution suggested by Ben did the trick.

Nice to find you here.  How did you bring the photo from the UT?

Alex

Hiya.

I uploaded the picture. Go to Control Panel, up there on this page. On the left you will find "Your Profile", "Edit Personal Photo". Then just Upload your picture.

Oops, just discovered that the Internet Options adjustment affects all Browser sessions (naturally) and pasting address in IE and resizing text is not very practical.  So unless another way way exists, the enhancement request stands.

Thank you.

Alex,

The solution that Ben provided earlier is going to be your only option.  Increasing the font size within the help file really is not a solution.  We use the same font size that all other major entities (including Microsoft) use for help production and creation.  The Ctrl + scroll is really going to be the only option to manipulate the font size.  Thanks.
