Hi Trent,

I am testing my application on a Virtual PC which is XP SP3. I am getting this error when trying to load the exe file that was copied from the Release folder.

EventType : clr20r3     P1 : humanfindadmin.exe     P2 : 1.0.0.0
P3 : 49cb8e99     P4 : microfour strataframe ui     P5 : 1.6.0.0
P6 : 49b92851     P7 : 48     P8 : 6e     P9 : system.io.filenotfoundexception

I installed in the VPC .net 2 and later .net 3.5
I copied the following dlls from this folder: d:\Program Files (x86)\MicroFour\StrataFrame\Assemblies

MicroFour License Base.dll
MicroFour StrataFrame Business.dll
MicroFour StrataFrame DBEngine.dll
MicroFour StrataFrame UI.dll

From the Release folder:
HumanFindAdmin.Base.dll
HumanFindAdmin.Business.dll

Running the same testing folder on my computer works just fine which is Vista Ultimate 64 bits. Also right now I don't have yet the security moudle.

So what did I miss?

Thanks,

Doron

Well, this could come from a lot of places.  The first thing would be to determine which file was missing.  I would recommend against using the GAC and use just place all files in the same folder and see if this issue goes away.  Place your EXE, DLLs, etc. all in the same folder and then run it again and make sure that it runs.  It is actually easier to distribute an application when you do NOT use the GAC.  That would be my first recommendation.  But this just seems like all of the files cannot be "seen" by the entry point assembly.  Make sure that they are all int he same folder and try again would be the first thing that I would recommend.
