Hi,

can you give  some estimate when the next version of SF will be released?

In one of the forum posts I noticed that you are working on "middle tier enterprise server". What's the timetable for that and will it be available for testing/trial as some point?

We are planning on releasing the 1.5 version of StrataFrame towards the end of September which will include the new Role Based Security add-on.

I have attached a white paper on the Middle Tier Enterprise server for your review.  The Middle Tier Enterprise Server will probably be released towards the end of September or beginning of October.  We will have a "Developers License" that will allow you to create and test your applications without requiring you to purchase a full license for yourself.  This will allow you to test and trial the server.

Glad to hear that about the Developer license, nice work there. My customers can afford it, I cant.

I’ve been holding off on starting a new project in anticipation of the next release. Since that’s still a little ways out is there anything I need to consider when developing in the current version to take advantage of the security enhancements in the next release?

Not really anything that needs to be considered... the security module takes advantage of the current hooks we left in the framework for people to implement their own security.  So, it pretty much just "plugs in" with about 3-5 lines of extra code in the Program.cs file.
