I just watched "DevExpress Wrapper Sample (Video and Source)" and in it you mentioned that the BrowseDialog had extended functionality when wrapped with the DevExpress stuff. I was wondering if you expand on what you meant.

Thanks

P.S. In the post options do I need to set the Topic Subscription Notification Type to Immediate Notification every time I make a post in the same thread to get notification when a reply is posted?

The additional functionality in the DevExpress wrapper has to do with the results being visible and the search field selection being automatically managed.

You can do yourself now by using the "Visible" check on the search field item.  The DevExpress wrapper just goes ahead and implements this functionality for you...and some day we will more than likely back up and add this for the standard BrowseDialog as well...but for now you would have to do this manually.

You got it

Just as a side note I'd like to say kudos for the demonstration in "DevExpress Wrapper Sample (Video and Source)". Aside from some great information about the DevExpress wrapper I also picked up a few .NET nuggets.

Good job and Thanks.
