Princeton, NJApplication Consultant Dow Jones Indexes has an outstanding opportunity for a talentedand experienced Application Consultant on a permanent employee basis, at itsPrinceton, New Jersey headquarters.
PrimaryResponsibilities The primary responsibilities of this position involve developingnew applications, as well as upgrading or maintaining existent applicationsparticularly as it applies to the industry classification system. Additionallyand particularly as it applies to the industry classification system, theApplication Consultant will be expected to contribute to database design andmaintenance efforts individually, and on a team basis.
Technical Skills Required
- Professional level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (versions 2005 and 2008,SSIS packages)
- Professional level proficiency in Microsoft .NET
- Experienceand proficiency with C#.Net required.
- Strongcommunication skills and team orientation.
- 4 or more yearsexperience in Application Development or support thereof.
- Candidatesexperienced with StrataFrame framework preferred.
- Candidatesexperienced with database design, and OOP preferred.
- Candidatesexperienced with Visual FoxPro a plus.
