Hehe, the morning shows (like GMA and such) were talking about how almost the entire nation was below freezing last night... all the way down to New Orleans and Boloxi on the gulf... only Florida and Georgia were spared last night. 

Don't mention the nice tropical weather down in Brazil, Ivan... we don't want to hear it

I set the BindingProperty and it worked!!! By the way, the NYC Metro area will finally hit 26 this week. It has been very warm out here thusfar??

Hrm... good point.  The InfragisticsControls have a .Value property that is of type Object... they use it to circumvent DBNull.Value problems (because you can actually pass a DBNull.Value to that property without it throwing up) and it's the field that they recommend that you bind to.  However, switching to Text should help also.

I've run into this one. Under the StrataFrame Framework Setting for the control set the BindingProperty to "Text" and leave the BindindUpdateMode set to "InPropertyChanged". That should fix your problem. By default the BindingProperty is set to "Value".

Try changing the DataSourceUpdateMode property on the control to OnValidation (it's one of the StrataFrame properties) and see if that helps.

When data is in table, it will disaplay. When I remove the bo properties, I can enter data that displays. When attached, entry does not work? I am using the maskedit type of "(###) ###-#### Ext. 99999" in a "varchar type column.

If there's already a value in the business object, then does it display properly?  Does the data get copied back to the business object properly, and it's just not displaying properly?

You can test it by changing the object type within the .designer.* file to Infragistic's UltraMaskEdit and remove the properties that are in error (like BusinessObject, BindingField, etc.) and see if it still acts the same way.
