FYI:

If you drop a combo box and select the PopulationType as Business Object and then you click on PopulationDataSource, you get a dialog Box, to enter your BO and methods and etc. In that Dialog box, The "Ok" and "Cancel" buttons are partially chopped off from the bottom.

Are you running Windows Vista on your laptop?  It is possible that some buttons might have shifted when run under Windows Vista...

Ben, No Vista. I'm running Windows 2000 r on this notebook (IBM Thankpad).

As I'm following the tutorials, just ran into another screen that shows strange. And that is "Parent-child editor".

Can I send you a pic of the screen shot to your email? If yes, would you like to PM me your email?

Thanks!

Ah, with Windows 2000, I can see how the themes might be off... the Parent Relationship Editor's height is dynamically set as the fields are added/removed, and the title bar without windows themes is less than the title bar with XP themes.

The buttons get overlaid in the middle of the screen, on the top of other components.

Does this mean the minimum system is XP for SF? or could future version of SF solve this problems?

Thanks!

StrataFrame will definitely run on Windows 2000.  The problem you are running into is a designer form issue with 2000 apperently.  Obviously StrataFrame was designed to operate in an XP environment moreover a 2000 environment.  However, this does not prevent you from developing on the 2000 platform.  Distribution of your products will not have any effect as this would be your forms that would support them running on 2000.

As for us making changes, more than likely the designer forms will remain as they are as long as StrataFrame users can at least function on a Windows 2000 machine at design-time.

Thanks Trent;

So far it has not stopped me of going forward, and it's not a big deal for me. Just thought it's best to report them!
