Just discovered you can hold down the CTRL and use the mousewheel to zoom textsize in the text area of CHM files. Works great in strataframe help with no exporting etc necessary

I think part of that depends upon the verion of IE you are using (since CHM files are hosted within IE).  I know that on my development machine, the Ctrl+mouse wheel does not work within a CHM file, but it does work within IE by itself.  It's good to know that it works on your machine, Charles; it's certainly worth it for everyone to give it a try before attempting the other methods mentioned in this thread.

Might be that Firefox is my default browser. I think that means chms are hosted there ?



That might be the difference. I haven't used IE since I found Firefox.

Actually I am pretty confident that CHM requires that IE be installed on the machine.  The CHM engine is dependent upon IE and does not really respect other engines as a whole.
