My Broken rule descriptions coming from the localization files are displayed with strange text. Please see attached screen shot.

Any Ideas?

Well, that is RTF text and I'm pretty sure that the error provider doesn't deal with RTF (doesn't render it). I think your localization text for the broken rules needs to be in plain text. That's my best guess anyway.

Yep, Greg is right, it's RTF.  Check to make sure that you added your localization values as "Text Values" not "Messages."  The text values form should have only 3 fields that you can enter (or maybe just 2, now I can't remember).  So, if you're adding a new value and you see 20+ fields to enter, you're entering a message, not a raw text value.

FYI, I think the "Add Message" button on the toolbar changes function depending upon what you have selected in the treeview.  If you have a language under "Messages" selected, then it will add a new message, while if you have a language under "Text Values" selected, then it will add a new text value.

Yep, I was using a message instead of text value.
