Hi All,

Today I am officially a StrataFrame user, I just bought the licenses and here we go....Smile

I downloaded the 1.6.1 version and installed over the previous installation, (basically it did a repair), but checking the References in the current project I still see all MicroFour libraries are still with version 1.6.0.0.

How do I make sure I am running the latest and the greatest build of SF?Hehe

Thanks!

Edhy Rijo

I still see all MicroFour libraries are still with version 1.6.0.0.

SF 1.6.1 is displayed in the GAC as 1.6.0.0 as we did not change the version.  We did this intentionally to speed the update process for our developers the last go around.  When the version changes you have to remap all of your references.  We plan on having a version menu in future releases to make it easier to determine which version you are running.

Just FYI, when you installed the trial it is the same install that is used for the full version.  You will notice that you now have access to the source code in your downloads area.  We will be posting a 1.6.2 update in the next couple of weeks.  We will send out an email letting you know when we do.

Welcome to the community! Smile

Hi Trent,

Thanks for the information, much appreciated.  I have a lot of experience working with VFP framework (Visual ProMatrix), I am a VPM-MVP Live, and hope to be here a long time, so please bear with me during my new adventure with VB.NET and SF.

I will be posting a lot during this period, and hope to soon return back the favor.  I also have  some enhancement requests which will start posting soon, and most of them are toward making the framework easier to use for new and experience developers.  In the VFP world we have a lot of builders which expedite productivity and so far I have not seen those builder like in .NET/SF.  I found the ListView builder which I like, but still want to see more automation.
