The only reason that they would be "locked" is if they were in use.  I have not had this issue, but if you have something refering these DLLs at the application level that is never letting them go once they are loaded into the AppDomain, then they could be open.  But past something along those lines I am not sure without getting my ahnds on the app and server.

We seem to have a problem with Strataframe on publishing to a web server. Publishing works until we get to the Strataframe dll's and then it errors out (it doesn't happen all the time but most of the time). We have to then stop the webserver, publish and start it again. It's not a problem with any other files and it only pertains to Strataframe. Has anybody else experienced this and if so does anyone have any solutions where we don't have to stop/start the webserver for every publish?
