You can already do some of this.  To copy a table , just right click the table you want to copy and then selected the profile and database to which to copy...that's it.

That is exactly the case, since the idea of DDT came from the SDT for VFP, there are many things I would like to see to help improve the creation of tables/fields, etc. like:

  • Copying fields from one table to another
  • Copying a table in the same database
  • Updating selected tables only
  • And of course visual design that would handle the creation of relationships by drag and drop

This is already on the list (as we have wanted to do this internally) but we have not done this as of yet as there could be more questions that benefits come from doing this.  Since relationships, sprocs, etc. may depend on those tables, an error would occur if not properly deployed.  We have talked about doing this from a design-time perspective because when developing you will go and add a field and it would be nice to deploy that one table versus the whole database just to speed things up.

When deploying table structure and data within the DDT, there is not way to select which table to deploy, like we have for the "Deployment Data".

It would be really good to been able to just select the table which we want to modify instead of running the whole process for all tables all the time.
