I created a profile, a business object, mapped it, rebuilt partials, etc etc all went well until I tried to run.

I created a saimple databasee with one table, and two text fields just to try things.

I used the maintenance form, dropped on my BO, added two textboxes, set the binding field, ran the form.

My table was empty so I hit "New" and entered some data.

I got this...... {"An error occurred while creating a new DataLayer for the business object."}

Please help.

Can you post the exception output for the big red error window that shows?  I'm looking at the code, and there are a couple places where something could be amiss, but I'll need the InnerException to figure it out.  Thanks.

My issues were fixed by:

1) I wasnt using the Strataframe project types.

2) I was using 1.4.0, 1.4.1 is suggested for a new user. I normally dont use a "beta" unless someone tells me to.
