The two should not be connected.  We have been using SP1 for quite a while and there won't be any changes in this regard.  However, you could have some corruption in the connection file.  Just reset them by deleting them (http://forum.strataframe.net/FindPost18699.aspx).

You didn't update your StrataFrame database.  You MUST update the SF database from at least one install for each version.  The only reason that there is an option to skip this is so that you don't have to update the SF database from every computer that you load a new update on.

Hi Mike,

You must have an assembly update problem, possible due to some security issues in your computer.  Basically you have to make sure the old version of SF and its assemblies are removed from your computer, specially the ones from the GAC which you can do manually, then re-install the updated version and make sure you let the install update the SF database.

There several posting related to this kind of situation on the forum, I believe I saw one posted yesterday 10/23/2008.

I finally upgraded Strataframe to 1.6.6 but with some problems

I tried this on a spare computer and it seams to work with out any problems.  I then went back to my main computer and did the same thing. When I open the StrataFrame Business Object Mapper I get the following error.   Invalid object name 'DTEprojects.

I went back to the spare computer and backed up the StrataFrame database and restored it on the main computer with the same results.

I then reinstalled the 1.6.6 version from Sept 15, 2008 and again with the same results. I checked the Database Connection and it connects without any problems.

Please help
